Lenovo ThinkPad X230I Tablet Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to communicate with your home network. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Lenovo laptop. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Signs the WiFi adapter has to be replaced
- The wireless adapter in your Lenovo laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- Your WiFi signal drops multiple times throughout the day
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
