Lenovo ThinkServer 1044 Ram
RAM is a type of volatile memory as the data it holds is removed every time you turn your server off. A computer will do nothing at all without having RAM. Your server RAM stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for applications. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of your server. The RAM speed is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the system software. If there is ever a doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Symptoms of a poorly working stick of RAM
- The server screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
- The system produces random reboots on your server throughout the day
- The software does not show the right memory size
- Emptiness fills the air as you start your server
