Lenovo ThinkServer 1105 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo server. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. The WiFi in your server, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to connect to your router and modem. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
What are the signs that the WiFi adapter has to be replaced?
- The server wireless driver gives errors when installing
- The WiFi adapter in your Lenovo server will not connect to your router anymore
- Your WiFi signal drops for no reason all the time
