Lenovo ThinkServer RD220 Wifi
Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your server. The WiFi in your server, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your home router. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
Important clues of a declining WiFi adapter
- The WiFi drops multiple times throughout the day
- The WiFi adapter driver shows it as not installed
- Your WiFi on your server does not connect at all
