Lenovo ThinkServer RD240 Video Card
A dedicated graphics card is usually necessary for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while dedicated is a separarate piece of hardware that gets installed. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes the input and renders images to the monitor where it is displayed for you. At the moment, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Most new desktops should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a graphics card to be added to the system. Integrated video cards will never be better than a separate video card, in general.
