Lenovo ThinkServer TD230 Wifi
You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your server may have. WiFi, or wireless internet, makes use of a wireless adapter to send and receive signals to and from your home network. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the operating system that is installed on your Lenovo server. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
How do you know if your onboard WiFi is on its last leg?
- The server wireless driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless signal goes out randomly during the day
- The wireless adapter on your server is unable to find a signal from your router
