Lenovo ThinkServer TS200V Ram
RAM is actually volatile memory as its storage is deleted every time you turn your server off. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores pieces of information that the computer uses for applications. RAM is crucial even for a computer to even boot. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Major symptoms of a dying stick of RAM
- The main operating system cannot report the right RAM amount
- The OS produces access errors on your server intermittently
- Nothing happens when you initiate your system
- The server screen will not light up when you start your server
