Lenovo ThinkStation 6439 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Lenovo desktop. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses an adapter in order to talk to your home router. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
Simple indications of an unhealthy WiFi adapter
- The desktop wireless driver gives errors when installing
- Your WiFi in your Lenovo desktop is unable to connect to the internet
- Your wireless internet connection has trouble connecting over and over again
