Lenovo Y50-70 Ram
The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the system software. Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of data that the processor uses for applications. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to run at all. RAM is actually volatile memory as all the data it holds gets removed every time you turn your laptop off. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. But, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If there is ever a doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
How do you know if your RAM memory is in need of a replacement?
- Nothing happens as you initiate your system
- The main screen does not light up when you start your laptop
- You tend to have errors on your laptop as you use it
- The main operating system fails to come up with the correct amount of RAM as it should
