NEC Versa P550 Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your NEC laptop. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your home router. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
What warnings are present when my WiFi adapter is almost going bad?
- Your WiFi signal goes in and out all the time
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
- The wireless adapter in your NEC laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
