Panasonic CF-51 Power Adapter
The Panasonic CF-51 power adapter is needed for two reasons, to charge the onboard battery and powering the laptop. Upon choosing a replacement adapter, selecting the Panasonic OEM charger is always going to be the safest and easiest way to go. If you decide to buy an non-Panasonic adapter, please check on the output of amps and voltage. A universal power adapter is another possibility if you are desperate. Because Panasonic has been known to use a single AC adapter that can be used on other units, be sure you choose the right one.

- Battery does not charge up every time
- Most Panasonic AC adapters will get very warm to the touch when they are plugged in for a period of time
