Sony PCG-C1MGP Ram
Your laptop RAM stores small bits of information that the CPU is currently using for programs. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. RAM is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is blanked out when you shut down your system. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, while the size is determined by the operating system. RAM is necessary in order for your laptop to boot up. If you are ever in doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What happens when my Sony RAM needs to be replaced?
- The main operating system does not show the correct memory size
- The laptop screen does not light up when you start your laptop
- Emptiness fills the air as you initiate your system
- The system produces weird errors showing up on your laptop throughout the day
