Sony PCG-F180 Ram
RAM stores random bits of information for the CPU to use for applications. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for your laptop to boot up. RAM is actually temporary storage as its storage is erased when the system shuts down. The clock speed of the RAM is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the software. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Important hints your RAM memory has very little life left
- The main operating system fails to come up with the right amount of memory installed
- Silence when attempting to boot up your laptop
- The screen does not display correctly when starting up
- You tend to have random reboots on your laptop throughout the day
