Sony PCG-F450 Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for executing commands. The RAM speed is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is guided by the system software. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. Some RAM is mandatory for the Sony PCG-F450 to run at all. RAM is actually volatile memory as all the data it holds gets blanked out when you shut down your system. If there is ever a doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
What happens when my laptop memory is almost going bad?
- Silence when you start your laptop
- The OS does not display the right amount of RAM as it should
- The laptop screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
- The OS produces random reboots on your laptop throughout the day
