Sony PCG-F630 Wifi
You are better off buying a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Sony laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Key clues of a failing onboard WiFi
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The WiFi goes out randomly every day
- The wireless adapter driver shows it as not installed
