Sony PCG-K33 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as picture or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your laptop. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the system software. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as its storage is blanked out every time your turn the computer off. Some RAM is mandatory even for your laptop to even boot. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
What symptoms are present when the Sony RAM is almost going bad?
- The software does not report the right amount of RAM
- The system produces invalid access errors on your laptop as you use it
- The screen does not turn on when starting up
- Nothing happens as you try to boot up your laptop
