Sony PCG-SR17K Power Adapter
Upon choosing a replacement AC adapter, selecting the Sony OEM charger is always going to be the safest and easiest way to go. The Sony PCG-SR17K AC adapter provides two functions, charging the battery and powering the laptop. Because Sony has been known to use a single AC adapter that is most likely used on other laptop models, be sure you choose the right one. A universal power adapter can be used if you are desperate. If your decision is to purchase a different brand charger, make note of both the volts and amps outputs.
What happens when my charger is not working right?
- The laptop does not run using just the AC power adapter
