There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. An integrated graphic card is built-in to the main board, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Integrated display adapters are not as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. Today, graphics card maker nVidia is the most popular in the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Most newer computers should have at least one PCI Express slot available for a dedicated video card to be added to the system. A graphics card processes graphics and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you. A dedicated graphics card is pretty much required for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry.

A Sony PCV-L600 video card should really be bought brand new for obvious reasons, including possible wear on any older used one. Always make sure to re-check the manufacturers part number so you order the correct video card replacement.
