Sony PCV-LX910 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your router. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your desktop. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
Some clues the WiFi adapter has to be replaced
- The WiFi drops multiple times throughout the day
- The desktop wireless driver gives errors when installing
- The wireless adapter in your Sony desktop is unable to find a signal from your router
