Sony PCV-RX460 Ram
RAM stores pieces of data for the CPU to use for programs. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it has more to do with the speed of your desktop. Random Access Memory is considered volatile memory as all the data it holds gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. RAM is crucial for a computer to run. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
Clues to watch for to know your RAM has very little life left
- The main operating system does not show the right amount of RAM
- You get a lot of errors on your desktop throughout the day
- The desktop screen will not display correctly when starting up
- Nothing happens when trying to boot up your desktop
