Sony PCV-RX760 Wifi
The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to talk to your home network. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have. Buying a USB wireless adapter is quick and painless because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Sony desktop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which means you simply plug it into a USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own.
Red flags the WiFi adapter will have to be replaced
- The WiFi disconnects and reconnects every day
- The WiFi adapter driver cannot be installed
- Your WiFi in your Sony desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
