Sony PCV-RX891 Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the current operating system on your desktop. The WiFi in your desktop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router and modem. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your desktop may have.
Subtle hints the wireless card is failing
- The WiFi has trouble connecting all the time
- The wireless adapter in your Sony desktop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The wireless adapter driver cannot be installed
