Sony PCV-RZ26G Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for executing commands. Your desktop will do nothing at all without having RAM. RAM is a type of temporary storage as all the information held gets blanked out when you shut down your system. The clock speed of the RAM is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is guided by the operating system. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it will impact the overall speed and quickness of your Sony. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Important clues of a declining RAM board
- Nothing happens as you boot up your desktop
- The software fails to come up with the right amount of RAM
- You get a lot of invalid access errors on your desktop intermittently
- The main screen does not display correctly when starting up
