Sony VGC-LT31N Video Card
Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, generally speaking. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is in second. There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. Almost all newer desktops will have at least one spot available for a graphics card to be installed. A video card processes graphics and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you.
