Sony VGC-RA716G Ram
RAM stores random bits of data that the computer uses for programs. Some RAM is mandatory even for your desktop to run correctly. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the operating system. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is erased every time you turn your desktop off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that you can never have too much RAM.

- The desktop screen will not display correctly when you turn your system on
