Sony VGC-RA834G Video Card
Dedicated video cards are pretty much required for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto or Battlefield. Both an integrated and dedicated video card processes the input and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you. Integrated video cards are almost never as good as a separate video card, generally speaking. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Most newer computers will have at least one spot available for a video card to be installed on the motherboard. There are really only two kinds of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately.
Simple signals your display card has to be replaced
- The monitor depicts stretched or elongated pictures
- The Sony VGC-RA834G crashes when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- Nothing seems to come on when booting up
- A driver for the video card fails to install properly
