Sony VGC-V Video Card
A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for high-end games on the desktop like Battlefield, Fortnite or Far Cry. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated card market, while AMD is sitting in second place. Most new desktops will have at least one PCIe slot open for a video card to be installed. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are not as good as a separate video card, in general. There are really only two kinds of video cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated cards are built-in to the computer itself, while a dedicated graphics card is an individual piece of hardware that is bought and installed separately. A video card computes and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you.
