Sony VGN-C190P Ram
Some RAM is mandatory for a computer to even boot. The RAM speed is dictated by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is dictated by the software. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets erased when you shut down your system. RAM stores random bits of data that the central processing unit uses for programs. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If you are ever in doubt, just know that more RAM is a lot better than less RAM!
Major indications your RAM will need to be replaced
- Silence when attempting to power on your laptop
- The system produces random errors on your laptop as you use it
- The OS fails to come up with the right amount of RAM
- The screen does not light up when starting up
