Sony VGN-FE500 Ram
Your laptop RAM stores pieces of information that the CPU is currently using for applications. The RAM speed is governed by the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the system software. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as programs or emails. But, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for your laptop to run at all. RAM is a type of volatile memory as all the information held gets erased when the system shuts down. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Clues to watch for to know your RAM is not going to last much longer
- The software does not show the right RAM amount
- The main screen does not turn on when booting up
- You get a lot of random reboots on your laptop intermittently
- Silence as you boot up your system
