Sony VGN-FE790G Ram
RAM stores random bits of information that the processor uses for applications. The clock speed of the RAM is imposed within the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is governed by the software. Some RAM is mandatory even for your laptop to run at all. RAM is considered volatile memory as the data it holds is removed every time you turn your laptop off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it will impact the overall speed and quickness of your Sony. If you are ever in doubt, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Some warnings your RAM memory has very little life left
- Nothing happens when trying to start your laptop
- The main screen does not turn on when you turn your system on
- The OS cannot report the right memory size
- You may get quite a few weird errors showing up on your laptop intermittently
