Sony VGN-FS645PH Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of data for the CPU to use for programs. RAM is a type of volatile memory as its storage is deleted every time you turn your laptop off. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not hold files like documents or pictures. But, it will affect the speed of the computer. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is determined by the OS. Some RAM is mandatory in order for your laptop to run. If you are ever in doubt, just be sure to remember that you can never have too much RAM in your system.
Signs your RAM is going out
- Emptiness fills the air when attempting to initiate your system
- The screen does not display anything when you start your laptop
- You get a lot of invalid access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The software does not report the correct memory size
