Sony VGN-FW463J Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your Sony laptop. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your router and modem.
Signs the wireless card needs replacing ASAP
- Your WiFi in your Sony laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The laptop wireless driver shows it as not installed
- The wireless signal disconnects itself all the time
