Sony VGN-N330N Ram
The RAM in your computer stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for programs. The speed of the RAM is predetermined through the specifications from the motherboard, and the minimum storage size is dictated by the operating system. RAM is a type of volatile memory as its storage is removed every time your turn the computer off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory in order for your laptop to boot up. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of the computer. If there is ever a doubt, remember that bigger is always better!
Subtle hints your RAM is dead
- The screen does not display correctly when you turn your system on
- You tend to have weird errors showing up on your laptop intermittently
- The system cannot report the right amount of RAM as it should
- Silence when attempting to start your laptop
