The Sony VGN-NR410E power adapter provides two functions, to charge the onboard battery and powering the laptop. Because Sony uses one power charger that powers multiple other machines, be sure you choose the right one. A universal AC adapter can be used if you absolutely need to. When choosing a new AC adapter, the actual Sony brand is always going to be the safest and easiest way to go. If your decision is to purchase a different brand charger, make note of both the volts and amps outputs.
What happens when my Sony AC adapter is not working right?
- Battery does not charge up whatsoever
