Sony VGN-NR460E Wifi
Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your wireless router or modem. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
Signals your internal WiFi will need to be replaced
- The wireless signal drops for no reason throughout the day
- The WiFi adapter driver gives errors when installing
- Your WiFi on your laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
