Sony VGN-SR130N Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because all you need to know is the current operating system on your laptop. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. WiFi, or wireless internet, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your home network. It will be easier to buy a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
What warnings are present when my WiFi adapter is in need of a replacement?
- Your WiFi signal has trouble connecting over and over again
- The WiFi adapter on your laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
