Sony VGN-SR190 Ram
Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets erased every time your turn the computer off. Some RAM is mandatory even for a computer to boot up. Due to the fact that RAM is temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your laptop. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, while the size is determined by the OS. RAM stores random bits of data for the CPU to use for applications. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, remember that bigger is always better!
What signals that my RAM board is about to stop working?
- The OS produces invalid access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- Emptiness fills the air when attempting to boot up your system
- The main screen will not display correctly when booting up
- The main operating system does not display the correct amount of RAM
