Sony VGN-SR525G Wifi
Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is the operating system that is installed on your laptop. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to communicate with your router. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.
What signals that my wireless card will soon go out?
- The WiFi adapter driver gives errors when installing
- The WiFi adapter in your Sony laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
- Your wireless internet connection disconnects and reconnects during the day
