Sony VGN-SZ330P Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware to send and receive signals to and from your wireless router or modem. A lot of newer wireless adapters are plug-n-play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the system will install the drivers automatically. It will be easier to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Finding a WiFi adapter is easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your Sony laptop.
What red flags are there that my onboard WiFi is about to go out?
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless adapter on your laptop is unable to connect to the internet
- The wireless signal goes in and out over and over again
