Sony VPCCW2VFX Ram
Random Access Memory, RAM, stores small bits of information for the CPU to use for programs. The RAM speed is governed by the specs of the motherboard, while the size is determined by the operating system. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as the data it holds is removed every time you turn your laptop off. Some RAM is mandatory for your laptop to run. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as documents or pictures. Instead, it has more to do with the speed of your laptop. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Simple signals your laptop RAM will soon need to be replaced
- Nothing happens when you boot up your laptop
- You may get quite a few access errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The OS does not display the right amount of RAM
