The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your home router. It will be easier to buy a new wireless USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your Sony VPCE. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, in that you just plug it in the USB port and the OS will handle everything from there.

- The wireless signal drops for no reason during the day
