Sony VPCEB26GM Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to talk to your router and modem. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. It is much simpler to buy a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have. A lot of newer wireless adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
Simple signals the WiFi adapter will eventually need to be replaced
- Your WiFi signal has trouble connecting over and over again
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- The wireless adapter in your Sony laptop cannot see the SSID coming from your router
