Sony VPCEE42FX Wifi
Finding a WiFi adapter is easy due to the fact that all you need to know beforehand is what OS you are running on your Sony laptop. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to communicate with your wireless router or modem. Most new Wifi adapters are simply plug and play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
What are the signs that the onboard WiFi is in need of a replacement?
- Your wireless internet connection has trouble connecting throughout the day
- Your WiFi on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The laptop wireless driver cannot be installed
