Sony VPCL235FX Ram
Your desktop RAM stores random bits of information that the processor uses for applications. RAM is considered temporary storage as all the data it holds gets deleted every time your turn the computer off. Having the RAM installed is mandatory even for a computer to run correctly. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not hold files like picture or movies. Instead, it does have a correlation to the speed of your desktop. The speed of the RAM is imposed within the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is governed by the OS. If you are unsure about the size of the RAM to buy, remember that you can never have too much RAM.
Major symptoms that your RAM board is dead
- The main operating system cannot report the right amount of memory installed
- Silence as you start your desktop
- The screen will not turn on when you turn your system on
- You get a lot of weird errors showing up on your desktop intermittently
