Sony VPCL236FX Video Card
There are two types of graphic cards, integrated and dedicated. Integrated is built into the motherboard, whilst a dedicated card is purchased and installed onto the main board. Integrated, or onboard, graphics are almost never as good as dedicated graphic cards, in general. Most newer computers will have at least one spot available for a graphics card to be added to the system. A dedicated graphics card is typically a required piece of hardware for most games you would play on a desktop computer like Far Cry, World of Warcraft or Battlefield. Today, nVidia rules the dedicated video card market, while AMD is in second. A graphics card computes and sends the rendered images to a monitor where it is displayed for you.

- The desktop restarts when trying to start up a graphic intensive game
- The display does not turn on when starting up
