Sony VPCS135FX Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses a piece of hardware in order to talk to your home network. Buying a wireless adapter is quite easy because the only thing you have to know is the current operating system on your laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. It is cheaper and easier to purchase a new wireless USB adapter and just plug it in, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have.
Some warnings the WiFi adapter should need replacing
- Your WiFi on your laptop will not connect to your router anymore
- The laptop wireless driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- Your wireless internet connection goes in and out every day
