Sony VPCS13HGX Ram
The RAM in your computer stores random bits of information that the CPU is currently using for programs. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets removed when the system shuts down. The clock speed of the RAM is prescribed within the specifications from the motherboard, while the size is governed by the system software. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the processor, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of the computer. Having the RAM installed is mandatory for your laptop to run correctly. If you are ever in doubt, just be sure to remember that you can never have too much RAM in your system.
Major signs your RAM memory has little time left
- You get a lot of weird errors showing up on your laptop throughout the day
- The screen will not display anything when booting up
- Silence as you power on your system
- The OS cannot report the correct memory size
