Sony VPCSA2BGX Wifi
Searching for a new adapter is simple because all you need to know is the operating system that is installed on your Sony laptop. Most USB wireless adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the OS will install the drivers on its own. The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter to send and receive signals to and from your router. You are better off buying a common WiFi USB adapter and install it, than to replace any built-in adapter your laptop may have.
What red flags are there that my wireless card really needs to be replaced?
- The WiFi adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
- Your WiFi on your laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The WiFi has trouble connecting throughout the day
