Sony VPCSA2EGX Ram
Your laptop RAM stores random bits of information that the computer uses for executing commands. Random Access Memory is considered temporary storage as all the information held gets blanked out when you shut down your system. Some RAM is mandatory for your laptop to run at all. Because RAM is only temporary storage for the CPU, it does not have the ability to store files such as text documents or movies. But, it does have a correlation to the speed of your laptop. The RAM speed is prescribed within the specs of the motherboard, while the actual storage size is determined by the software. If you need to buy more RAM and are unsure, just know that it is impossible to have too much RAM!
Signs that your RAM board should be replaced
- Silence when you initiate your system
- You get a lot of random errors on your laptop throughout the day
- The main operating system cannot report the right RAM amount
- The laptop screen does not light up when you start your laptop
