Sony VPCZ11FHX Wifi
The WiFi in your laptop, if so equipped, uses an adapter in order to talk to your home router. You are better off buying a new USB adapter and install it, than it is to replace any type of OEM adapter you might have. Searching for a new adapter is simple because all you need to know is what OS you are running on your laptop. Most new Wifi adapters are plug-n-play, which just means that you only need to put the adapter into an available USB port and the operating system will take care of the rest.
How do you know if your onboard WiFi is dying?
- The WiFi disconnects and reconnects during the day
- The WiFi adapter in your Sony laptop is unable to find a signal from your router
- The wireless adapter driver suddenly shows as uninstalled
